At Mignonette, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, we're here to help. This policy outlines our guidelines for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Return Eligibility

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided that:

  • Items are in their original condition
  • Items are unworn, unused, and unwashed
  • Items have all original tags and packaging
  • Items are not on the non-returnable list (see below)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital products
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Return Request

Contact our customer service team or initiate a return through your account dashboard within the eligible return period.

Step 2: Return Authorization

We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions.

Step 3: Pack the Item

Securely pack the item in its original packaging (if possible) and include:

  • The RA number
  • Original invoice or packing slip
  • All accessories and documentation

Step 4: Ship the Return

  • Ship the item to the address provided in your return authorization
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

Step 5: Inspection and Refund

  • Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Refund Timeline

  • Inspection: 2-3 business days after receipt
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days
  • Bank processing: 5-10 business days (varies by bank)

Refund Amount

  • Product cost: Full refund (if return is approved)
  • Original shipping: Refunded only if return is due to our error
  • Return shipping: Not refunded unless return is due to our error

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Items not in original condition
  • Items damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items. To request an exchange:

  1. Contact customer service within 7 days of receiving the item
  2. Provide photos of the defect or damage
  3. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you
  4. Return the defective item using the provided return label

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damage or defect
  • We will either send a replacement or issue a full refund
  • Return shipping will be paid by us

Wrong Item Received

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will arrange for the correct item to be sent
  • We will provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item
  • No charges will be applied to you

Cancellations

Before Shipment

You may cancel your order before it ships by contacting customer service. A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

After Shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You must follow the standard return process once you receive the item.

International Returns

International customers are responsible for:

  • All return shipping costs
  • Any customs duties or import taxes incurred during return shipping
  • Ensuring items comply with customs regulations

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for international returns.

Refund Status

You can check the status of your refund by:

  • Logging into your account dashboard
  • Contacting our customer service team
  • Checking your email for refund confirmation

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after the specified processing time:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take time for refunds to post)
  3. Contact your bank (there is often processing time)
  4. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, contact us

Restocking Fee

We do not charge a restocking fee for standard returns. However, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to:

  • Large or bulky items
  • Special order items
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window

Store Credit

In lieu of a refund, you may opt for store credit:

  • Store credit never expires
  • Can be used for future purchases
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • May offer additional value (check current promotions)

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:

  • You'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return
  • Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you

If the gift giver wants to be notified of your return, please contact us.

Sale Items

Sale items may be returned within the standard return period, subject to the same conditions as regular-priced items. However, some promotional items may be final sale and non-returnable.
